Bag Boy Express GT 3-Wheel Push Cart

Summary:
Overall, I have used this cart 5-6 time so far and am very pleased with it. Positive Comments: 1) It is very sturdy and is mechanically simple to open and close. 2) The adjustment system to allow the front wheel to roll straight works very well. Set it and forget it. 3) The large wheels supported by bearings roll very easily. 4) The velcro strap to hold the top of the bag is very easy to use. Negative comments: 1) The drink holder under the scorecard is almost too small to hold a 20 oz. drink bottle. 2) I would have prefered a hand actuated parking brake rather than one using a foot-actuated pushbutton.

Customer Service:
Have not needed but Bag Boy has been excellent from previous experience.

SC525 and Express

Summary:
We have both the newer SC525 and the older Express push carts. The SC525 is a lighter version. It has lighter spoke wheels, and the frame and strap system is not as substantial as the Express and Express GH. The SC525 is built very well and should last many years. The removable 3rd wheel allows the cart to be folded to take up much less space than the carts with the folding 3rd wheel. (Includes Sun Mountain) The cart is very easy to use.

Also have the older Express. This cart is similar to the new Express but does not have the removable wheel. One of the advantages of this cart is that it has a full size front wheel. Making this cart a bit easier to push than the SC525, Down-side is that it is heavy. Much like the Sun Mountain. I understand that Sun Mountain had a patent infringement problem with BagBoy, thus the BagBoy went to the removable wheel. Actually, that makes the cart easier to use in some ways. The Express cart is built like a fort. I think you could roll an elephant down the fairway with this thing. Very easy to use and sturdy as can be.

I am very familiar with the Sun Mountain, the main advantage of the Sun Mountain being is the umbrella stand. (If you want that) Sun Mountain has a hand brake. Really, no advantage whatsoever.

Pushcarts, in general, are heavy and not good for mountain goat courses. It is far easier to use a light carry bag on the very hilly courses. But on most all other courses push carts are the way to go.
