Izzo Cage Mouth

Summary:
I used this net approximately 6/7 times before the frame broke ( fiberglass splintered ). Relatively easy to use. On average it took about 10 minutes to set up and a little bit longer to tear down b/c it somewhat difficult to compress the frame back into 4 smaller circles. I got "tapped" in the nuts one time b/c I didn't throw it far away enough when setting it up. The net is high quality and I think it would have lasted but the frame leaves something to be desired.

Customer Service:
Received as Christmas gift.

izzo cage mouth net....

Summary:
This product sucks! It wouldn't and couldn't stand on it's own. It's advertised as a 1 second self install, it's anything but. I've spent over 2 hours installing it and after some jerry rigging, got it to stand on it's own, but barely.

This item is a joke!

cage mouth

Summary:
Follow up to my previous review. I was able to ship the cage mouth back, after I removed the frame from the net, and chopped up the frame in pieces (took about 30-40 minutes, I just pretend the frame is IZZO and that helped). As IZZO requested, I packed the net, the chopped frame, the original box, instruction manual and other accessories in a more regular shaped box, and shipped it back FedEx ground for $15.

Customer Service:
I received the replacement (Big Mouth) in about 2 weeks. For my small backyard, big mouth works much better. It's also always straight, and won't collapse even without nail.

Izzo Cage Mouth

Summary:
After reading the previous favoable review, I purchased the Cage Mouth from a vendor on Amazon for around $150 including shipping. I tried to set up the net but it's always tilted. I followed the instruction book to try to correct the problem in vain. So I tried to hit a few balls and the net collapsed after each hit. The ads said it's easy to fold the net, but it's really hard. I tried to fold the net back and the frame broke. I didn't get to use the net much.

Customer Service:
Since the net has 1 year warrenty, I tried to send it back to IZZO for a replacement. I finally got a RMA. However, the package for the net is very large (over sized), so post office won't take it. UPS ground will cost $126. I asked IZZO customer support to see if they can send me a UPS label and I can pay for that (it was originally drop shipped from IZZO directly), they said no, they can't issue me a UPS shipping label and it's my responsibility to ship it back to them with the original carton, packing, etc. Since I didn't purchased from IZZO directly, they are already doing me a favor by issuing me the RMA. So I'm stuck with a useless practice net. Be warned if you want to buy this net. I think for larger item, a store purchase from Golfsmith makes more sense.

Izzo Cage Mouth Net

Summary:
This practice net is undoubtedly the best purchase I've ever made for my golf game. It is simple to put up and take down (taking down takes a little practice at first) and folds small enough to store in a shed or garage, taking up little space. I purchased a good quality hitting mat a while back, and now I can hit balls in my backyard to my hearts desire! This has allowed me to work on things like swing tempo, timing,& feel and I can pound balls for hours at a time. I highly recommend this net to anyone who wants to improve their game without shelling out tons of cash at the driving range - after practicing with this net you can hit a bucket at the range to check out your ball flight. Best investment I've made for my golf game, hands down!
