Mizuno MP 60 TT DG S300

Summary:
I am an 8 handicap and have been wanting to upgrade from my old offset irons and saw these at a great price brand new. Looked great and decided to buy them w/o ever hitting them. (I am left handed) I have played them very little so far but I am very happy. They feel great, look great, and really helped take the hook out of my iron play. If I hit it properly I only have about a 2 yard draw as with my old irons I had about a 10 yard draw. They seem to be about a half club shorter (I used to to hit my 7 iron 160 but with these about 155) My old irons had lighter shafts too so that could be why. But this could be the cold and not playing much. I really like playing more half shots with them.

Mizuno MP60

Summary:
I bought 3-PW DGS Lite S3 shaft bent 1*upright. Great feel, consistent feedback when the swing was poor as well. I was fitted for these clubs, I hit a comparison group including the Titelist 775, Ping I3?, Taylor Made R7 for comparison with the Mizuno's. My shot pattern with the Mizuno's was far better in consistency of distance, diameter of displacement, ball speed, spin rate and trajectory curve as seen on the computer tracking system. If you are considering buying a set of clubs, new or used pay the $60 and get tested correctly. I love these irons, well worth it! The feedback is similar to a true blade, very solid feel, the ball reacts extremely well to a well struck shot.

Customer Service:
I bought them at Robin Nigro Golf, Bert was my salesman and they waive the fitting fee if you order them there. Go see him! I just eagle dunked a 9 iron from 135 yds.

I used to play DCI's and X-14 Callaways, Mizuno's play much better for me.

Mizuno MP60 irons

Summary:
After experimenting for months with every iron set possible, I decided to go with the MP 60. These are by far the best forged irons on the market. Even for someone that shoots in the high 70's to low 80's these irons seem very forgiving while maintaining excellent workability.

Summary:
These are great irons, but I'm not sure why so many reviewers refer to them as "blades". They are not blades. They are cavity backs.

Summary:
After reading the reviews on these irons I thought I would throw in my 2 cents also.
I bought the MP60's on the advice of a sales clerk. At first I thought that I was not good enough and too old (60) to play a blade.Wrong on both accounts.
I have just changed the shafts from S300 tt to TT black gold 'S'.Sweet.
These are the best irons I have owned and believe me I have owned alot of Irons.I hit them farther, straighter, more solid,I can fade or draw them,..........oh I didn't mention I am lefthanded which means there is not a large selection for me to pick from and these are by far the cream of the crop.
I do not see myself changing these Irons in the near future simply because i do not think there is anything better on the market today.Of note these clubs are nowon sale at Golftown in Canada for around half price at $600.A great deal.
