Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Lynx Black Cat Irons (steel) Summary: I bought my perimeter reinforced cavity-back Black Cat irons new in 1995 and have never considered another set of anything else. In the decade-plus since, I have gone from playing multiple rounds of 18 per week to playing three or four times a year and now have resumed playing at least once per week. Simply put, I expect these clubs to outlive me. The clubs provide excellent feedback on both good and bad hits, and you feel the good hits through your entire body. I used to swing very hard, but my back can't take that any more. Even with the flared steel shafts, I can still hit high, soft-landing shots without hurting myself. These clubs are long, but don't generate as much spin as some others I've played. Customer Service: The Black Cats with steel shafts do not have the same problems with heads coming off as their graphite-shafted counterparts, so Ive never contacted Lynx or Golfsmith for service. Similar Products Used: Ping, Taylormade, Wilson Staff, Callaway, etc.

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Black Cat Tour NiCa Summary: Beautiful irons. Very small faces - slightly larger than the Tommy Armor 845 Silver Scotts. This makes them difficult to hit centered in the sweet spot. Even though there is a cavity, they play and feel like forged irons. These are really made for the stronger golfer with a moderate to high swing speed, who has a very consistant swing. These are great off non-rough.. hard to get in the air out of rough. They also give a low trajectory ball flight. they're just ok.. Customer Service: lynx customer service is great. Similar Products Used: tommy armor 845, titleist DCI knockoffs

Shoots in the 90s Model Reviewed: Lynx Black Cat Summary: I have had these Black Cat Lynx clubs for four years now. All the heads keep flying off, to the point I am afraid to use them anymore for fear of hurting someone with a flying club head.
What's the deal? Anyone know?

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Black Cat Irons Summary: I have tried many different irons from Calloway, Ping, and Cobra. these are the most forgiving, consistent clubs I have played. the 3,4 of all clubs are trouble for me, but I hit these better then the others. I tend to hit a high fade, which I can control and not loose distance with these. Similar Products Used: tried them all
