Summary: I was new to golf about 4 years ago and after experimenting with some off-brand irons, I picked up a used set the X-14 Pro Series. After starting with a set of hack clubs, I could definitely see a difference with the Callaways. They feel like butter when you hit the sweet spot and look great at address. After a year or so, I finally started experimenting with working the ball and different shot types and they handled anything I tried. I had the graphite Stiff RCH 75 shafts, and although they felt great, they were a little too light for me once my swing began to evolve. I upgraded to the X-18 Pros with stiff steel shafts. I scored my only hole-in-one with the X-14's, so instead of trading them in, I have retired them as my back-up set.
Overall, one fo the best irons I have hit and if they had steel shafts, I would probably still be using them (decided to pay a little for for the X-18's rather than reshafting the X-14's). Forgiving with a traditional look and not as bulky as some of the newer irons. You can find these for under $200 a set on ebay. If you're looking to upgrade, but don't want to break the bank, I would highly recommend the X-14 pros.

Summary: Great clubs. Got them about 6 months ago and they feel long and consistent. I really feel like I'm going to hit it great each time I take a club out of the bag. I do have my share of mis-hits, but it's me, not the club. Less off-set than the regular x-14 make these great for a mid-handicap golfer like myself who likes to have a more "traditional" look in an Callaway club. got a great deal on my set from Callaway Pre-owned golf.
Customer Service: Awesome. Since I bought them pre-owned, two of my grips were a little worn. I sent them an email and without even waiting to email me back, they sent me a full set of replacement grips. That's a $45 value in stores.

Summary: I've played with these for 2 years now and have to say it is a great iron. But 2 things really popped out.
1. It is hard to work the ball. In order for me to hit a cut I would have to REALLY open up my stance..almost sideways.
2. The trajectory is LOW.
If you can live with these 2 exceptions then they are great. It has a good size sweet spot and they are the best looking X series yet.

Summary: I recently got my hands on a used set of these on Ebay for $220 (with shipping). All I can say is that I wish I would have found these years ago! My first round last friday netted my first time shooting in the 70's. I shot a 79. It took about three times out to the range to get used to the size and distance of the clubs. They are about a club to a club and a half longer than my previous Mizuno Pro's. These clubs REALLY want to go straight! The ball flight was high and I could really get a lot of spin on my short irons. I think these are in my bag for a long time coming!
Customer Service: callawaygolfpreowned.com was great with shipping and handling.

Summary: I have had these irons for a few years now and can't say enough about them! They are well designed and absolute butter when you hit them! Especially the short irons...I find myself using my 8 and 9 iron clubs quite a bit around the green for bump and run and shots and have holed many a chip with these clubs! When you hit these clubs solidly they soound and feel great! I've had many opportunities to trade these babies in for newer technology but can't because of my attachment to them..I've played many memorable rounds with these and hit some great shots..If I ever do decide I want a change I'm keeping these as my backup..I love the way they look and they have held up very well over the years! Callaway makes a fine product and I have been very satisfied with these clubs! A fine set of irons for the discriminating player looking to improve his game..
